Freelancer as a Single MOM OFW my story WHY?
We always think being OFW had a wonderful life.We envy when we see them post in a beautiful scenery like Beach, like Disneyland or a beautiful park.We crave the food they eat.especially those dessert that we didn't know.We notice that they always online.But Have you really thought,What’s behind those pictures and smiles?I think we don’t.
As a Seafarer for 10+ years I work in a Health and Wellness company as Beauty Therapist which I know it’s far from what I decided to be a freelancer.It was a good job don't get me wrong i like it at the same time i can go travel to see the world for free, meet international guests and work with different nationalities.Nice & clean ambiance workplace, compensation. I could say it was decent to help the family to support.
I'm a single Mom and have a daughter.While I am on board a ship for 9 months. She's with my parents.As a mother it was difficult and painful for me to leave my child and don't see her grow up but what can I do?I need to sacrifice as a mom. We want the best for our kids, that is our utmost priority.
Every time I go home for vacation I feel my daughter is far from me even though I’m with her.Maybe that's the result of being far away always and that made me think twice about my path to a new career,I wish I had a job that no need to leave home.
Work as a freelancer is the most attractive option that i could see.So i start searching on how to start for this new career choice.
Why is Freelancer the choice for me?
Freelancing job gives me an opportunity to showcase my other skills.It gives me a chance to earn in and enjoy the flexibility, freedom it gives in and quality time with my loved ones.
You'll work less but get paid higher it depends how your skills or niche you choose as a freelancer..But the competition is tough freelancers are growing nowadays and it's gonna be more in the future.
As a newbie, how am I going to win this?I have to be prepared for this because
I don't want to start without any ideas but just having a particular set of skills is worthless, it must be complete.How i am going to compete with millions across the globe?

I decide to enrolled in the academy, i know will they refined my skills as a freelancer. I learned a lot of things that i never thought. I thank the FVA Family specially to my Coach Julmar Grace Locsin she is very helpful and guided me well , she has a big heart for her students to learn.I need to be competent for my daughter.I know it wasn’t easy and struggling sometimes but i have to be strong and finished it until i get to see myself to the Goal that i really wanted to be.For those Newbie Mother like me or those who wanted to work as a freelancer you need to equip and develop or sharpen your skills you need advice and guidance from the expert surely you on
your way to success. Enrolled with them they have good deals for the courses.Lots of success stories and living proof that share their victory as a Freelancer.
